Can AI translations match what human translators achieve?

While AI translations can be a useful tool, human expertise often remains indispensable for ensuring the highest quality and precision in translation work.
What's the difference between human and AI translations?
For AI translations, we use the latest techniques (in the field of translation tools) to convert your content into another language. Depending on the language combination and the subject, a medium to good result will come out. With a human translation, you can always expect a result that is ready to show to the world.
What should I choose, an NMT or LLM translation?
From experience, we can tell it’s about two considerations. If you want a translation that is close to the source, choose an NMT translation. The output quality of NMT is higher than that of an LLM. The costs for this are lower, as fewer adjustments are needed.
Are you looking for a freer translation? The use of an LLM translation creates more transcreation. However, this does mean that more errors creep into the translation and therefore the costs of this are higher.
Roughly, the output of NMT needs to be adjusted 5 – 10%, and an LLM translation 10 – 20%.
