The founders of Simply Translate were born and raised in the Netherlands, a country known for its trading spirit and drive for innovation. We strive to reflect these age-old characteristics in our daily activities. With our boundless entrepreneurial ambition and background in business administration, communication, and computer science, we understand better than anyone that communication is the key to almost every success.

Since the start of our company in 2013, we have had the mission to make international business as easy as possible. Simply Translate aims to break down language barriers for online businesses by delivering targeted content using our smart technology. Our goal is to have helped at least 50,000 online businesses take the step abroad by 2025.

Founder & CEO

Jeroen van Benten

Jeroen (1986), Amsterdam, heeft een achtergrond in internationale bedrijfskunde. Zijn passie voor ondernemen begon tijdens zijn studie. Na vijf jaar lang verschillende ondernemingen te hebben geleid, heeft hij in Simply Translate gevonden wat hij zocht. Hij streeft ernaar te blijven innoveren en heeft een leidende rol in de internationale uitbreiding. Voor de kantoorlunch maakt hij salades voor iedereen. In zijn vrije tijd leest hij graag, handelt hij in aandelen en traint hij voor IronMan.

Milou Buiter

Milou (1989) heeft talent voor talen: ze kan zich verstaanbaar maken in vijf talen. Met haar master in persuasieve communicatie begrijpt zij de behoeftes van onze klant als geen ander. Omdat zij zelf actief is geweest als vertaler en ghostwriter, is zij altijd en overal op zoek naar nieuw talent. Tenslotte is zij degene die precies weet welke eigenschappen jonge professionals moeten bezitten. In het weekend spot je Milou in de bruisende binnenstad, op zoek naar onbeproefde dingen en aan het kletsen met zowel lokale als internationale mensen.

Dennis Rosenbaum

Dennis (1988) is een ervaren software ontwikkelaar met brede kennis in het ontwikkelen van gecompliceerde webapplicaties. Hij heeft een achtergrond in technische informatica en is verantwoordelijk voor het technisch beheer van ons platform. Daarnaast heeft hij het systeem ontwikkeld dat het leven van onze vertalers gemakkelijker maakt! Dennis houdt iedere week een Hackaton samen met een vriend, wat resulteert in veel nieuwe ingevingen.
